Protecting Asses World Wide. Bigfoots and Copyrights

Image
Well, not really, but it certainly makes me sound important. Only, it could be famous last words if it is already a trademarked or copyrighted phrase or slogan. I can say honestly I didn’t check it out. And probably still won’t. Protection is certainly something we all struggle with, especially when we get excited about something. There have been friendships, careers and fortunes lost as a result. But still, for some reason, we leave ourselves vulnerable. We leave ourselves wide open for hurt when protecting ourselves should have been our first priority.                                                     A few excellent Bigfoot and Paranormal groups were kind enough to answer a few questions for me in regards to the protection of their intellectual property, and not surprising, most of us (yes, I included myself in this) have not bothered with even the b...

You Made My Camera Fall on the Ground..(Hot Summer Night)

Image
Bigfoot: on a hot summers night, would you offer your film to the beast who smells like roses? Me: Will you offer me some saliva? Bigfoot: Yes Me: Will you offer me some teeth? Bigfoot: Yes Me: Will you offer me a jawbone? Bigfoot: Yes Me: Will you offer me some hair? Bigfoot: Yes Me: Again, will you offer me some hair? Bigfoot: Yes Me: And can you survive without these? Bigfoot: Yes Me: And do you trust me? Bigfoot: Yes Me: Yes Bigfoot: On a hot summer night, would you offer your film to the beast who smells like roses? Me: Yes Bigfoot: I bet you say that to all the cryptos Me: S**t It was a hot summer night and the woods were glowing With the fireflies rising up from the ground  When I listened to your growl I heard the whole woods thrumming  I saw the shooting stars coming through your giant hands  You were licking your lips  I saw your big teeth shining  I was shivering thinking you might want a taste Oh We were standing ...

Sir Lance A Lot

There are a lot of stable, well-liked, and appreciated  actors out there, but none I would bet that are as adored as Lance Henriksen. In the Bigfoot, Horror and sci-fi genre he is a beloved prince.  His roles in some movies have been smaller than I would prefer, but always memorable.  To tell our (mine and  Sir Lance’s) story properly than we need to start at the beginning. My older sister, a movie fanatic like myself, has been a faithful Lance fan for over 35 years (Piranha II: the Spawning...anyone?). As she was my big sister, she had, as you would guess, a big influence on me. I always wanted to see the movies she was watching. My first introduction to him was in The Terminator when it came on cable. Immediately, I liked everything about him. Lance in Terminator.. I went on to follow him throughout his career from there. When I saw Pumpkinhead for the first time with my sister, lights off, snuggled in my blanket and popcorn in hand, I was scared witless and I l...

Bigfoot be Quiet Will ya I’m Trying to Sleep Here!

Image
As someone that considers herself a professional night owl, I have learned I have nothing on the Big guy and this world of his. It has been 7 months now since I started this relationship with him and really committed myself and I haven’t slept in at least 6 of them. Up late reading the latest gossip on twitter..he’s seems to be in Virginia right now.. The first month I didn’t know him well and he didn’t know me. We had our love from a distance, a very big one apparently. But as we drew closer, it became apparent that to stay in the know of what he was up to and keep up with him meant walking around with sunglasses at night or some creative way to hide my bags. (Or just a bag over my head to cover the bags on really bad days)                How can he possibly be everywhere at once. Night and day never slowing down. And his friends! Don’t get me started on them! They are running a muck right now. Dogman, mothman, goat boy and Nessie. Nessie is...

Sticks and Stones..They Can Definitely Break Your Bones..

We are all familiar I’m sure of one of the most famous stoning incident in all of Bigfoot lore. Maybe second in all of history after that other guy that we love and believe in even if we don’t see him. The infamous Ape Canyon Battle. If you’re not, then back in 1924 these miners were working in Ape Canyon, when they encountered a supposed Bigfoot and shot him. Starting a battle at their log cabin. Where the ape men (their words) threw large boulders on it and at it.  Now if any of those made there mark on the men it would have most likely gravely wounded or killed them. Leaving at the very least a mark not so much here or here as right there. (Anyone know where that last line came from)? So, we know painful and I’m guessing a little scary too. So why  is it that we go out in the woods every week hoping to get hit by a boulder or two. I was hit in the head when I was a kid ...
