Oh yes I’m the Great Pretender

Image
I seem to be, what I’m not (you see). For every Sasquatch believer out there. There is one who does not have our faith that he exists. Most non believers are having a good yuck at our expense.  Jokes, movies and YouTube videos dedicated to our insanity. They are the same ones who also don’t believe in aliens or UFOs. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinions. And I’m totally fine that some don’t believe. But are the same alien nonbelievers who go around creating crop circles on poor innocent farmers corn fields, also putting on Bigfoot suits all over the world? Bigfoot is reportedly seen all over the globe. There could potentially be a sighting of him daily. Now one reason I assumed he is so elusive is because they are at what we would consider extinction level numbers had they been any other known species. But what if a good portion of those sightings are fake?Someone or someones running around in suits hoaxing everyone. Not that the report in itself is fake. But a ho...

Swipe for Love

Image
With Valentines Day here. I  thought it might be a good idea to talk about what Bigfoot's love life might be and what he would bring to the table. What makes him attractive to another? Or Do they just need to be thinking of their species survival? And most importantly Is there a mating ritual? So to start, what does Bigfoot bring to the table? Well, he appears to be fit and strong. He can snap tree trunks and large branches in half. So, he must be a good protector right? He is very stealthy so he must make a good hunter-gatherer. I mean we haven’t accidentally shot him yet while we are out there bagging a deer. (That line almost makes me sound kind of cool. I wouldn’t even hunt my keys down if I lost them).  As for mating rituals. Well, all those whoop whoops have to be for something besides making us crazy. And the eau de toilette? I have long thought it was to lure that special someone in. I mean it’s either a deterrent or a come hither. I’m going with something positive. ...

Big Foot Forward for Charity

Image
Bigfoot has long been known as the protector of the forest. Protecting the plants and smaller critters of the forest. The Native Americans see him as a guide through the forest as well. And that is how I like to see him. So now, Bigfoot is putting his foot forward for charity that continues with this tradition to protect. And what  better way than to help protect the children of the world. Bigfoot against Bullying. Every child should feel safe in their environment so they can grow and thrive. For so many from elementary to college. School is a battleground for them. Afraid or sick to their stomach at the idea of going to school with their tormentor. Who often goes unpunished. It eventually takes over so much of their lives. They can't sleep, don't eat and get sick. Shut themselves away from everyone. And sometimes older children make desperate choices such as suicide to make it all go away because they feel so helpless. A whole family destroyed because they just didn't h...

Fishing Naked Movie Review

This is one of those titles that had me right at Fishing or Naked. But together? Come on already. I had to watch. I was lucky to stumble on this little movie free on Tubitv. 🐠+💪= fun So this movie is about a couple of pranksters that set up a con to scare tourists out of their favorite fishing spot by pretending to be Bigfoot. There are a couple of funny scares involved. In between their pranks, people are actually also seeing something real. The Hairy Man as they call it. At one point the pranksters realize what everyone is seeing is real. And the Hairy Man needs their help to get away from police, FBI, etc. Searching for him. The boys put the suit back on and try to lead everyone away. I'll let you play out in your mind what craziness may have been involved from there. I found this Canadian movie to be silly and charming and I wonder if the more popular movie out now, Pottersville got their idea from this movie. This movie did have some nudity so may not be family friendly...

Bigfoot Dreaming Through the Eyes of a Child

Image
Like the Easter Bunny. Children sometimes believe in the things they can't see. We know from the beautiful screaming Santa photos through the years. Children would rather love these things from afar. Some dreams come true aren't always good. Image was taken from youtube And It stands to reason that if they're scared of Santa than Bigfoot is going to go down like a sinking ship. My own experiences of sharing my bigfoot dreams with children as they grow and change and form their own beliefs and dreams are as follows: Whitehall, New York 2006 Taking my niece and nephew to Adirondacks in New York every year lent us the opportunity to plan a quick side trip to Whitehall. The babies were around 5 and 10 then. My sister and I were watching Abominable on the SYFY channel. When we were like duh. Let's go see the real Bigfoot. Believe me, when I tell you we were not going to bring them on that side trip to following our dreams but they were insisting.  We left in the daylig...

Follow the Red Ball. I Mean Circle.

Image
So it's time to talk about the big red elephant in the room. Our love and fondness for red circles. I have not seen so many since I was in school. And they weren't something you wanted to see. I'm still traumatized by my evil first-grade teacher who gave them to me often in between shushing me. I'm not just talking about all of you out there. I'm guilty of doing it too. (although I totally blame my sister. She actually did it) If you have to use a big red circle around a blown up blurry picture is it really there? If we need that much help we are either all blind and maybe not quite right in the head. Or we are searching for something in that picture that just isn't there. I don't think scientists, archaeologists, etc. Are red circling a picture of King Tuts Tomb? I would like to make a pact with all of you that we stop publishing pictures with red circles. If it's a picture of Sasquatch, we should somehow be able to see a giant hairy creature witho...

Sasquatch in the Snow

Image
So today is a very snowy day in New England. And you get all those reminders on the news. Check on the elderly, homeless, pets etc. So I did the family and friends check. I have a woodstove and generator so a power outage is just a quick inconvenience.  My yard today So I am chilling warm in my jams thinking what is Sasquatch doing during the storms in New England? Seriously though, there aren't any leaves on the trees for cover. There aren't many leaves and branches left to use on the ground everything is frozen. Are there any caves in the area for them to use? These are real questions I would love some insight on. I've talked a bit about migrating to warmer climates in previous posts but, what if there is no time to migrate? Is their hair thick enough to withstand this deep freeze we are experiencing? I worry about them and everyone else that may be caught in a storm such as this unprepared. I know the news gave you all the reminders but I would like to add to what the...

Bigfoot’s New Year’s Resolutions

Image
In between having to hide from you silly humans this season . I took a moment to think about what my resolutions would be for this New Year. This is just a few of the things I came up with: Continue to leave silly structures around to make you wonder about. An arch here, a bend there. Did I make them, did one of you make them? Who knows😊 Take a long hot bath. I'm tired of hearing references to my smell. I smell you too you know, it’s not as awesome as you think it is.  Leave real footprints around,  come on people, only finding one somewhere? Do you think I’m hoping around the forest?  Lose weight. I think one article said I must be 1200 pounds. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it does not sound good.( Maybe you should leave a scale instead of the peanut butter). Get in better shape. Seriously,  it takes a lot of energy moving that fast so you can't get a clear picture, do you know how fast you have. to go to reach blurry? And dancing around those g...
